Montes explains the role of president gives her “proper training” for leadership. Montes adds, “talking to your vice presidents will relieve stress off your shoulders”. That’s if people would want to take on the role.
Sophomore Dairy Gonzales, Vice President of Communications, handles all of the communication sent out, passing information out, and running the Instagram page. Gonzales explains that having this role will build up your “communication skills”, and teaches you how to speak appropriately in social settings. Gonzales adds, if you like talking this is a great role.
Mr. Tracy is quick to add that “he loves it because students get to learn tech coding” which they normally don’t do in class “. He wants his students to be able to learn the “Tech language”, the “importance of computers” and the way they work.
The benefits of this program are working on their “professional skills” and “technical skills” to support their own equipment. They also learn business strategies, money handling and the import/ export of business. He stated, “They also work with people outside in the real world,” so this will help gain a career in the future.
The Future of this club is to compete in national competitions, to take more trips and have fun. Furthermore, the club is primarily about coding and computer science. It teaches students how to work computers while diving deeper into the world of coding and learning computer language.
Students who partake in this club will learn many things about coding, business and real-world issues. Joining the club has opportunities to even get better at other subjects.
