During the IHS 2025 season, the IHS volleyball team shined brighter than ever. With a blend of seasoned players and fresh talent, they were prepared to take on every challenge and emerge victorious. The Patriots had a winning record of 12-4, with the highlight of the season coming in third place in the Lake Havasu Tournament and winning the region! This team continued growing physically and were motivated to continue to grow. This was all thanks to the volleyball coach Michelle Monaghan. Monaghan said, “We do a lot of team bonding and activities that allow us to believe in each other and trust one another.” This is to influence those who are interested in joining volleyball in the future.
Indy’s volleyball team continues to grow throughout the years. One of the current freshmen in the IHS girls volleyball team is Chanel Harris. Her favorite position is outside. She stated that “the home game against Sierra Linda for the spot to win the region was top memorable to me.”
Throughout the season, the IHS volleyball team wss focused on balancing performance with camaraderie. Building strong relationships among the players is the cornerstone of their strategy, ensuring that everyone is committed to the program and their teammates.
This team’s bond fosters a supportive environment where each player strives to excel for the benefit of the team.
Motivation is maintained through heartfelt speeches in open conversations where they reflect on their progress and draw lessons from the achievements of successful teams. This holistic approach keeps the IHS volleyball team driven and united, ready to take on the season with strong confidence.
