The summary of the movie; Gwen a 15 year old girl has bad dreams and sees three boys from a camp that is located in the mountains. She goes with her brother and her friend from school to the camps to figure out why the ghost kids are targeting her dreams. She figures out they are related to the Grabber, who is now stronger even beyond the grave. She and her brother have to fight a ghost to end him once and for all.
The creative elements of The Black Phone 2 consist of enhanced supernatural elements, a blend of digital/analog visuals, deep cut horror nodes, and themes of deep trauma.
My opinion on the movie, I enjoyed how different it was from the first movie. The only thing I did not like about it was how it was so focused on Gwen and not Finney. I thought it would’ve focused on Finney because he experienced most of the trauma in the first movie. I wanted to know how he was dealing with the trauma. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. The fight scenes were amazing, the jump scares were very good, but it did feel rushed, especially more towards the end of the movie.

The Black Phone 2 taught me that communication is really powerful and that the way we use technology can seriously affect the people around us. It showed me that it’s important to think before we speak or act, especially when we’re emotional or upset, because our words and actions can hurt others. The movie also made me realize how important it is to be responsible and honest, even when it’s hard. Overall, it reminded me that staying connected in a positive way and making good choices really matters.
